Primary Information

    Finance System Authentication
The following Finance applications utilize the Tufts Username and Tufts Password for authentication:
     - Data Warehouse
     - eExpense
     - PeopleSoft Financials (eReq, CEA, PCard)
    - Tufts Marketplace
If you need to confirm whether you have access to a Finance system, Contact TSS for assistance. Before you call, you may want to check whether your Tufts Username and Password is valid by logging into another Tufts service such as email (exchange.tufts.edu) or the Tufts Virtual Private Network (VPN) (vpn.tufts.edu).

For the applications to work, including PeopleSoft and the Data Warehouse, you must be on campus or connected to Tufts VPN when off campus.

Apptricity/eExpense users should note the following:

     - If your password is longer than 21 characters, it will not work with eExpense.
     - Try a different browser to see if that will fix the issue. For missing buttons/tabs, see also
    Compatibility Mode IE11 with Apptricity.
     - Otherwise, report the incident to TSS.  Tier 1 will send to Tier 2 Travel who will troubleshoot the problem.

What to do if you can't log into eServe for issues getting into PeopleSoft HR.

Issues with your Tufts Username and Password- (this applies if you have tried to log in to multiple applications and your information does not work on any)
If you enter an incorrect password too many times, your account will be locked. After 30 minutes of being locked your account will automatically unlock. If you are having issues with your account, please contact the TTS Service Desk at 617.627.3376 or it@tufts.edu.  If you need to change your Tufts Password, or if you have forgotten it, go to Tufts Tools: http://tuftstools.tufts.edu/. Every 180 days, Tufts faculty, staff and students are required to change their Tufts Password. If you have multiple devices (laptop, desktop, smart device, etc.) that are configured to automatically connect to Tufts resources such as email, you will need to ensure that you update the settings for these devices immediately after you reset your password.
