The service is 100% confidential and provided at no additional cost to Tufts employees and their dependents who are enrolled in a health plan through the University. The University hopes that Best Doctors can alleviate the challenges and stress involved in understanding a medical diagnosis or a treatment plan and ensures that members can be confident in the medical choices they make.
Best Doctors is not meant to take the place of your existing physician, although they can help you locate a physician who is nearby and in your health plan network if you need one. The Best Doctors services are intended to supplement those of your physician by providing an in-depth review of your physician’s findings and recommendations and answering any other questions you have.
