    Tufts University has selected EthicsPoint, Inc. to provide you with simple, risk-free ways to anonymously and confidentially report activities that may involve unethical or otherwise inappropriate activity or behavior in violation of Tufts University’s established policies and Business Conduct Policy. You may file a report to Tufts University online or by calling EthicsPoint toll-free at 1-866-384-4277.  Telephone access is also available by calling NAVEX Global-EthicsPoint toll-free: 1-(888)-238-1244
     
    All reports submitted through EthicsPoint will be given careful attention by the appropriate Tufts University Administrators with the objective of addressing the situation being reported. We ask that you retain your report key and password and return to  the Ethicspoint web site within 10 days of filing a report to check for comments or follow-up questions.
     
    This hotline service allows you to report incidents of the following nature:
    • Discrimination, Harassment and/or Sexual Misconduct Matters (for Students, Faculty and Temporary, Contract or Regular Staff)
    • Conflict of Interest
    • Financial Matters
    • Regulatory Compliance
    • Environmental Health and Work Place Safety Matters
    • Student Organization Hazing Incident
    • Criminal Activity
     
    Please visit the Tufts EthicsPoint website to learn more about the steps and processes involved in filing a report for misconduct. You may also access this same site by visiting  www.ethicspoint.com, selecting ‘Tufts’ and then following the prompts to select the appropriate campus area and reporting category.

    Tufts University has established a confidential online system that enables faculty and staff to anonymously report suspected fraud, non-compliance with policies and regulations, safety issues, and suspected incidents of discrimination or sexual harassment.
     
    This anonymous reporting system is available not because we suspect widespread problems. On the contrary, the university has a commendable record, indicative of the integrity of its faculty and staff. However, we recognize that if fraudulent acts, violations of policies and regulations, issues pertaining to work place safety or inappropriate behaviors are suspected, members of our community may feel uncomfortable discussing them with their colleagues or supervisors. Instead, they may wish to report these matters anonymously.

    For that reason, the university has an agreement with NAVEX Global-EthicsPoint, to provide a Tufts University website and phone center for individuals to report their concerns. The EthicsPoint reporting option is designed to ensure that communications remain confidential. EthicsPoint will report to Tufts only the situation described and not the name or internet protocol (IP) address of the individual using its system, unless the individual chooses to disclose their identity. Depending on the nature of the concern, each submitted report is referred to a qualified, designated administrator(s) at Tufts for follow-up.
