Tufts supports and encourages International Travel by its faculty, student and staff while promoting safety and security measures that minimize risk to the traveler and the institution. The Global Operations office is available to assist you with travel preparation including the registration of your travel, logistical concerns and trainings for travel safety as well as provide assistance in case of emergency. 

In accordance with Tufts' International Travel Policy, registration with the Tufts Travel Registry is required for staff and students; faculty travel registration is optional but strongly encouraged.  All travel involving Tufts students to a country or region with a U.S. Department of State Travel Advisory must be reviewed and approved by Tufts International Travel Review Committee (a separate travel registration upon approval is not necessary).  For group travel registration and review, please contact Global Operations at (617) 627-3981 or internationalsafety@tufts.edu.
