Pre-provisioning is a secure page where new or rehired employees will confirm their name, address, email address, and phone number, and provide their social security number and date of birth. Pre-provisioning takes place before the employee receives their onboarding email.
Upon submission of the hire ePAF, the employee receives an email containing a link to pre-provisioning. Please be certain that the email address provided during the ePAF hire process is accurate and free from typos, otherwise they will not receive the pre-provisioning email. If you believe the email address has been entered incorrectly please see below for instructions on how to proceed.
The link in the pre-provisioning email is valid for thirty days, after which time the individual will need a new email. When the individual clicks the link, they will be taken to a page to first verify their identity. They can choose to have either an email or a text message with a verification code sent to the contact details provided when you completed their ePAF.
After entering the verification code, the employee proceeds to the pre-provisioning screen, wherein they confirm the personal details entered during the ePAF hire process, including their name, phone number, email address, and home and local addresses, are correct. They will also provide their social security number and date of birth.
Once pre-provisioning is complete the employee will receive their onboarding email within 24 hours.
If they do not receive their email, or more than seven days has elapsed, please confirm their email address. Customer Support can resend the pre-provisioning email. If the email address needs to be updated, please send to Sam, Malene or Payroll to update the email address and resend.
Note that Pre-Provisioning is best completed from a computer or laptop rather than a cell phone or tablet and that you may have difficulty with a Mac/Safari browser. Try changing browsers if you are having technical issues.
Who will pre-provision?
All new hires will receive a link to pre-provisioning once their ePAF has been submitted. Rehires who worked for Tufts prior to 2018 will receive a link to pre-provisioning. |
